Everyone can Support 1 Million Zimbabwean Voices. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are, how old you are! We know we can’t do this on our own, and we are always seeking your support to help us.

Each month we will come up with a Pledge suggestion that gives people who maybe cannot afford to give personally ideas and tips on how to work within a group of friends, colleagues or neighbours to carry out a small enterprise that will help to raise money on our behalf. Each group pledges their support and thus we have a multitude of groups helping us to make our work a reality.

We are working now through the summer to get as many of you to form a pledge group. This may be a small group of friends. A couple of people from church. The guys and girls from the office. Whatever and whoever you can think of, all we ask is that you gather with a small group of people, explain to them the general idea, and that each month we will put out a suggestion for our pledge groups to get together and do something small to raise some funds.

Examples of this might be to meet for a coffee morning and each buy your own coffee and contribute the change into a hat. If 10 of you go to the coffee morning it would not be difficult to imagine £50 being raised or pretty close to it. Your group then submits the funds raised to our pledge account and the funds are distributed directly to the needy in Zimbabwe. Another example may be the following month to have a dinner party at home with some African dishes, and everyone attending places something in the bowl to send through to the account later.

Each Pledge Group working on our behalf should register themselves with our Administration Team by popping them an email to ask for a registration pack. This will provide you with deposit slips, bank forms, and a certificate to display to show that the fundraising you are doing is legitimate. So if you are interested and willing to pledge your support to helping to fund our work then please pop us an email at info@1millionzimbabweanvoices.com, include your full name, address and a contact number and we will be sure to send you a registration pack. We thank you for your time, and so look forward to working with you and having some fun along the way.
