Trek Peru – Machu Picchu

Journey through lush jungle, past ancient Inca ruins and over spectacular mountain passes to reach the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu.

This beautiful and remote 4 day trek along the Lares Trail begins in the fascinating ancient city of Cusco and leads to the mysterious Machu Picchu ruins. It‘s a journey through forgotten wind-swept valleys, over wild mountain passes and tiny, isolated Andean villages, giving you a rare taste of the real Peru away from the crowds on the Inca Trail.

In October 2011 we plan to take one team on this prestigious challenge which is all-inclusive and includes flights, meals, accommodation, experienced group leaders and a UK medic, all trekking permits and a celebratory traditional dinner in Beijing at the end of the challenge.

• Acclimatisation walk in and around Cusco
• Hotel accommodation in Cusco, and village home stays and camping whilst on the trail
