1 Million Zimbabwean Voices Limited is a Charitable Non Profit Company Registered in Law in England and Wales under Incorporation Number 7160445 which was Incorporated at Companies House on the 17th February 2010. 1 Million Zimbabwean Voices Limited does not at this time posses UK Charity Status due to registration conditions which have yet to be met in British Law in order to to become eligible for recognition as a UK Registered Charity.
We are however a UK Registered Charitable Company which means that we must in Law produce accounts once a year to be checked and retained on public file by Companies House in the United Kingdom. These accounts will be compiled by our appointed accountants Macario/Lewin Chartered Accountants of South Wales after a full and complete audit which will be presented to the Board of Directors at the Annual AGM. It also means that a full Memorandum and Articles of Association have been complied and are freely available on record by written request.
In this world of uncertainty, we fully appreciate that many donors are caught out by corrupt and unscrupulous people and organisations that parade themselves as Charities, with little or no intention of working on behalf of those in desperate need. It is for this very reason that we have decided at the highest level of Management at 1 Million Zimbabwean Voices to always be transparent, financially diligent and work to the highest ethical standards of an organisation of our kind. For this purpose we have put in place a Financial Controls Policy with the help of our Solicitors and Accountants to ensure that we have written procedure to cover every Financial Transaction we undertake, and we welcome anyone to preview our annual report when it is presented at our AGM.
Ultimately it is the goal of 1 Million Zimbabwean Voices Limited to become a fully Registered Charitable Company in the United Kingdom and around the world. There is important work to be undertaken to support our people for years to come while the important work of Rebuilding our shattered and feeble economy is undertaken by the leaders we choose to undertake that reconstruction project. We look forward to being able to support a Democratic and Diligent Government that work for the people and strive to provide the best for Zimbabweans at home and abroad. This work does not come cheap and like any Organisation of this kind we survive on your donations. So please, next time your thinking of ordering a Chinese take away for your evening meal, just consider that in monetary terms to us, £10 will educate a Zimbabwean Child for 1 year.
